JONATHAN S. GATERA
Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Jonathan S. GATERA is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Prior to his appointment, he served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors since its establishment up to February 2019. Jonathan GATERA was the Director General of Rwanda Social Security Board from August 2015 to 2018. He has been the Director General, Financial Stability Directorate at National Bank of Rwanda from January 2014 to August 2015. Prior to this position, He was the Director, Financial Markets Department at National Bank of Rwanda from July 2011 to December 2013. He also worked as Manager, Financial Markets, and Analysis & Risk from January 2010 to June 2011 and also as Manager, Foreign Exchange Reserves from January to December 2009. Before occupying the above positions, he was appointed Senior Financial Analyst from January 2003 to 2008 then Financial Analyst from January 2000 to December 2002. He joined the National Bank of Rwanda in June 2000, after graduating in Bachelor’s degree in Sciences in Economics /BSc Economics from University of Rwanda (Huye). In 2012, he was awarded a Master’s degree in Sciences in Economics /MSc Economics from University of Rwanda (Kigali).
MR. ANDRE GASHUGI
Chief Operations Officer
Mr. André GASHUGI is the COO. From establishment of RNIT to February 2019 he was the Chief Executive Officer. He has a Master’s degree in Financial Risk Management from Université Cergy Pontoise and a Master’s degree in Audit and Management Control Université Méditerannéene de Tunisie. He has 15 years of experience in Strategic Planning, Corporate Management and Finance in different capacities. He has lead RNIT steps since its creation. His guidance and overall orientation has shaped the organization and built capacity to enable RNIT Ltd to launch the inaugural of RNIT Iterambere Fund.
MR. IGNACE MUNYANDINDA
Finance and Administration Manager
Mr. Ignace MUNYANDINDA is the Administration & Finance Manager. He is ACCA qualified and holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration with specialization in Accounting from School of Finance and Banking (SFB). He has 8 years experience in Accounting; Reporting and Public Financial Management. Prior to joining RNIT Ltd, He was a public accounts expert and Team Leader in charge of accounting and reporting at the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning (MINECOFIN).
MR. EVARISTE KABERUKA
Mr. Evariste KABERUKA is Investment Manager. He has MBA-Accounting & Finance from Mount Kenya University with 5 years of experience in Customs and Trade. He has monitored and coordinated relevant MDAs, to ensure the timely implementation of EAC projects and programmes under trade and investment. He has also among others coordinated the mobilization of Rwanda’s people through the Private Sector Federation to work together through joint ventures so as to build up their capital and be able to invest and compete in the region’s expanded market.
MR. JEAN PAUL NDISANZE
General Services Officer
Mr. Jean Paul NDISANZE is the General Services Officer. He has a Master’s Degree in Economics and Finance from Bircham International University. He has a 3-year experience in Planning and M&E, and has proven success record at providing support to Senior Management and Board of Directors. With experience in working with Government and multilateral funded projects, he also has a good understanding of project management.
Mr. JEAN DE DIEU MUHIRE
Mr. Jean de Dieu Muhire is the Accountant. He is CPA qualified and holds a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration with specialization in Accounting from University of Rwanda College of Business and Economics (UR_CBE)in 2016. He has 2 years of experience in Accounting and financial reporting. Before joining RNIT Ltd, He was an Accountant at Mogas Rwanda Ltd. Prior to joining Mogas Rwanda Ltd, he was Tax Associate at PwC Rwanda Ltd for 2 years.
Mr. NATURE EMMANUEL ICYITEGETSE
He is CISCO CCNA, SPSS qualified and holds a Bachelor Degree in Business Information Technology (BIT) from University of Rwanda College of Business and Economics (UR_CBE). He has 7 years of experience in IT Field . Before joining RNIT Ltd, He was an Network Administrator at SUKULINK INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDER Ltd for 3 years. Prior to joining SUKULINK INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDER Ltd, he was an IT Technician at INTELCAM Ltd for 4 years.
Mr CHRISTIAN BANGUMUKUNZI
Marketing, Sales and Public Relations Officer
Mr Christian Bangumukunzi holds a Bachelor’s Degree Economic Sciences and Management with specialization in Marketing from Unilak(University of Lay Adventists of Kigali). Before joining RNIT Ltd, He was a Customer Care Officer at King Faisal Hospital, Kigali. A Reatailer Officer in Off Grid Electric known as Zola. As an Enumerator and Data Collector in World Vision Rwanda. He was also a Sales and Marketing Assistant in AAR Health Services Rwanda.
Mr. CALEB NINSIIMA
Legal and Compliance Officer.
He holds bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from National University of Rwanda with over eight years of experience in Public procurement and legal domain with different institutions. He has worked with Rwanda Public Procurement Authority (RPPA) in double capacity: – as an Investigations Officer and Secretary to the National Independent Review Panel. He also served National Capacity Building Secretariat (NCBS) as Procurement Officer and with One Acre Fund Rwanda and RCA as Internal Investigations Coordinator and Legal affairs Officer respectively.
Mr. Eric UWIRINGIYIMANA
Customer Care Officer.
He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Media and Communication with specialization in Public Relations from Mount Kenya University. Before joining RNIT Ltd, He worked with Rwanda National Post Office in Charge of communication and social media engagement from January 15th, 2020 till 9th June, 2020. He also served Rwanda Education Board (REB) as Customer care officer since October 1st ,2018 up to June 30th ,2019 and with Royal Radio Ltd//Royal TV serving in the website and social media department From 1st August,2016 until January 20th , 2017. He also Served as a freelance of the New Times publication Ltd, in the capacity of a freelance Reporter, since October 3, 2016 to February 28, 2017.
